Fungi & Bacteria Monitoring

Are any of your team exposed to Fungi and or Bacteria while at work?

Fungi and mould spores may be present in the workplace environment without you being aware of it. Many fungi and moulds are responsible for causing skin rashes, asthma attacks, hay fever or eye irritation.

There are a number of recognised conditions, such as Farmers Lung (extrinsic allergic alveolitis) caused by exposure to mouldy hay, grass clippings or other composting green leafy material and Psittacosis (Pigeon Fancier’s Lung) caused by exposure to bird excrement, either from caged or wild birds.
