Fungi and Bacteria

Fungi, bacteria, their spores and endotoxins (cell wall components) may be present in the workplace environment without you being aware of it.

Recognised conditions such as Farmers Lung (extrinsic allergic alveolitis) and Psittacosis (Pigeon Fancier’s Lung) can result from exposure to bacteria and fungi in mouldy hay and bird excrement.


What’s involved?

  • Our microbiological surveys can detect deterioration in building structures and furnishing due to damp, poor storage or pests.
