Flu Vaccinations

Over 400 people die in New Zealand each year from the flu.

Vaccinating is an effective precaution against contracting and spreading influenza, especially important in the workplace. Influenza can be a serious illness, and the second wave of the Swine Flu due to hit NZ this year could be much more  virulent than the first wave we had last year.

This year the seasonal influenza vaccine contain the following strains:

  • A/California/7/2009(H1N1) - like strain
  • A/Perth/16/2009(H3N2) - like strain
  • B/Brisbane/60/2008 - like strain

Autumn is the traditional time to protect yourself, your company and family from the seasonal flu to keep healthy, productive and active throughout the cooler months.
