Andrene Shanks what is your role at TriEx?
I am an occupational health nurse with TriEx and have been part of the team for over three years.

What does it mean that you do and what do you love the most about that?
The majority of my time is spent out onsite at various industries carrying out annual health monitoring.  I have a regular contract at Hamilton Jets for a day per week. I enjoy being able to apply the knowledge gained from postgraduate studies to improving the health and safety of those workers I come in contact with in their workplace.

In addition to work how do you like to invest your time?
Married to Lyall and mother of two sons who have completed our family with 2 great daughters in law and 4 gorgeous grandchildren.  A great deal of our leisure time is spent socialising with family (who all live in Christchurch) and friends. I enjoy travelling, catching up with friends, reading, sewing, gardening.
